Nothing literary

Over the years, I came across few people in my life whom you can call simply without any class or in rather crude term- downmarket. They are shallow from inside yet they move around with a sense of superiority.

To be more specific..

They do not know which hand to use for holding fork.

They cant pronounce words like"rendezvous" .Actually they don't know and if they do, they wont.

They haven't heard about Friends, Frasier,Everybody Loves Raymond or Cheers.

They think old Bengali classic are the ultimate source of humour.

They haven't read or rather heard the name of P G Wodehouse and hence can never tell who is Jeeves.

They have not read Enid Blyton in their childhood or RD in their teens.

They crib always as why they are still single.

Their only idea of a party is their Friday night booze party.

Bengalis who haven't read Tagore except from their textbooks.

Lastly if you are a Bengali and think Tagore's "Shesher kobita" is a poetry...then I am sorry to say, you are definitely good for nothing.

If you fall in more than one category.....ummm.....yes..errrr.....

what can I say...Catch you later..bye.
